Tiraspol, October, 11. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. One of the topics discussed at the VII PIIEF was the problem of ecology, the recycle system and the possibility of its implementation in our region.
The Pridnestrovian industry association of recyclers Ecosystem together with other organizations and the State Service for Ecological Control and Environmental Protection, based on the experience of foreign colleagues, work on its implementation in the PMR. One of the invited guests of the PIIEF was the partner of Ecosystem, the representative of Eco.Ser SRL, Raffaele Mezzoni. He came to the forum with a finished project of recycle system, as well as the organization of recycling industry.
“Today, the state of the environment is the same everywhere. Ecology is very important issue. It is directly related to various aspects: health, quality of life and even tourism. I came here not to give lectures, but to share the experience of our country,” Mezzoni said.
According to him, in the EU, garbage sorting is fixed at the level of the law. Mezzoni talked about how that system existed in Italy. Each commune - municipality: city, town, village - has a contract with a private company involved in waste collection, provision of bins, information on proper sorting, etc. Accordingly, this is not for free: for one person the tax is from 150 to 180 euros, depending on the locality and the company providing the services.
According to the Chairman of Ecosystem Alexander Kharchenko, the investment economic forum is a good platform for sharing ideas on how to develop waste sorting projects and attract investors for their implementation.
Now the Association is developing the information platform Wasteconnect, with the help of which it will be possible to learn about the correct sorting and processing enterprises both in the territory of Pridnestrovie and abroad.
"The main thing is to consolidate and decide: “I want to get rid of garbage, but do it right.” For example, I have 100 kg of glass, I go to the platform and write that there is a certain amount of glass at a certain place. The association accepts the application, and when the time comes, transport arrives in this area and picks up recyclables,” Alexander Kharchenko told about the project.
In addition to the Association of Processors, other enterprises will also participate in the platform: among them the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant, the State Environmental Monitoring Service, organizations recycling polymers, etc. The site already is registered, now it is developed.
