The Pridnestrovian International Investment Economic Forum (PIIEF) with is being held in Pridnestrovie since 2009 and becoming annual since 2017, traditionally gathers hundreds of participants and guests on its site. I am sure this year will not be an exception, but, on the contrary, will attract even more interested people to our republic: entrepreneurs, scientists and public figures, experts in the field of economics, finance and international law.
As in the past year, one of the main components of the forum is its investment component. I would like to remind you that last summer, thanks to the joint efforts of the Government and the Supreme Council, with the direct involvement of the President of Pridnestrovie, the new Law of the

As you can see, a lot has been done over the past year. We create a solid basis for cooperation, using all the advantages provided by law.
Another important fact is that the republic is not only open to foreign investors, but also provides opportunities for Pridnestrovian business. An example of this is the creation of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund this year, which is designed to help develop small and medium-sized businesses. Today, business schools and incubators are being created within the framework of this fund, where aspiring entrepreneurs can try their hand and gain the necessary knowledge. The plans are to develop this area, providing grant support to young businessmen.
Another important tool is long and cheap loans. Thus, this year the republic launched a program of concessional lending to industry and priority sectors of agriculture.
All these actions are aimed at the main result - improving the socio-economic situation in the republic and raising the standard of living of its citizens.
Dear guests and participants of the PIIEF-2019!
During these two days of the forum, interesting discussions, conferences and round tables are offered to the participants on the most pressing topics: from economy and investment, to discussion of the tourist attractiveness of our country.
I am convinced that the forum will become an excellent platform for establishing business contacts and developing joint projects. I wish all participants and guests of the forum successful work and good mood!

The Pridnestrovian International Investment Economic Forum is being held in the republic for the seventh time. It was first held in 2009. Since 2016, the event has become an annual event and is held under the patronage of the PMR Government.
The PIIEF-2019 brought together representatives of Pridnestrovie, Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Poland, Romania, Austria, Israel, France, Germany, Italy, the United States - a total of 22 countries. The forum will last two days. The topic of the meetings is diverse: the potential of Pridnestrovie in terms of developing trade and economic relations with the CIS and EU countries, the introduction of modern technologies in business processes, tourist trends and their application in the PMR, investments in IT technologies, training of specialists in demand to balance the balance between supply and demand on the labor market, the interaction of government and business as the basis of socio-economic growth, youth policy, the environment and much more.
