19 potential entrepreneurs graduated from Tiraspol branch of CCI business school

Tiraspol, September, 17. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In this year at the beginning of July, the PMR Chamber of Commerce and Industry business school recruited a group of 20 students out of 40 applicants from Tiraspol. For two months, potential entrepreneurs were taught the basics of creating their own business. They offered free tuition in all areas of business school. Financing was carried out at the expense of the Fund for Support and Development of Entrepreneurship, which has been functioning since this year.

Today, students from the Tiraspol branch of the school presented their business plans. The choice of future entrepreneurs fell on such areas as agriculture, catering, manufacturing, tourism, education, trade.

Not only those who directly evaluated the work of business school graduates (representatives of the CCI and the Pridnestrovian State University), but also those who can give practical advice on financial extension of plans, representatives of the State Reserve Fund and the banking sector were invited to defend the projects.

Yuri Ganin, President of the PMR Chamber of Commerce and Industry, noted that the training course began with defining a business idea. “Many come with their ideas, but when a collective search or analysis begins, they refuse or change it. At the same time, many find their ideas here,” the head of the chamber said. He said that the presentation of plans was a good opportunity to get specialists` constructive criticism, which would lead to a more efficient business in the future.

Tourism industry is of great interest to future entrepreneurs. They consider it to be promising. If 4 thousand tourists visited the republic in 2017, then there were already 10 thousand last year.

Irina Zhaloba plans to open Village Delight guest house in Slobodzeya, where foreign tourists can not only stay for a few days, but also get acquainted with local history, traditions, and cuisine.

Maria Shumeyko worked on the project while on maternity leave. She plans to provide excursion services. Maria developed 11 original types of such services independently.

Alexandra Cherniy and Elizaveta Pivovarova want to expand their existing business - Sonata art-cafe. The authors of the project say that the cafe will become a meeting point for people of art, freelancers, young mothers, and people with disabilities in the future.

Ksenia Koptyuk wants to establish the production of high-quality meat semi-finished products in Tiraspol. Part of the production is planned to be sold in cooled state, another part - in frozen form. The businessman is going to compete due to modern equipment and high-quality raw materials.

The plans of future entrepreneurs include opening a store for confectioners, a barbershop, a center for psychological assistance to entrepreneurship, creating books and handmade toys, and much more.

According to experts who evaluated the work, many presented good business ideas, but not specific business plans which you can get a loan or a grant for. Many projects, for example, lacked serious financial basis.

Based on the results of training at the Tiraspol branch of the business school of the PMR CCI, all graduates received certificates.

By the end of the year, the business school plans to train 60 potential entrepreneurs.

Today, the resources of the Fund for the Development and Support of Entrepreneurship are allocated to finance a business school, the Buy Pridnestrovian! project, the purchase of heifers and establishing of stone orchards. Next year, another position of the fund will be grants to open their own businesses.
