At the beginning of September in the Center of assistance to art Baosheng, Taiwan, there is an exhibition in which artists from all over the world participate. Among them, there is National artist of Pridnestrovie Yury Salko. «X-Power Gallery» selected 11 paintings. Located the separate block, they form a full-fledged personal exhibition.
«There are new paintings in Taiwan which were made especially for this exhibition. Each of them underwent selection and certification of the International Association of the Visual Arts in Taiwan. These are those works I present not at plein air exhibitions, but the more serious scale, it is that romantic or expressional symbolism which is inherent in my painting many years. These are those philosophical reflections which are clear even for people of other culture. Taiwan is not the Christian country, there other philosophical tradition, but nevertheless in 5 years my works became close to them», – the author told to «Novosti Pridnestrovya» News Agency.
Yury Salko works at the Asian creative environment for 5 years.
In 2015 Yury Salko participated in the international Asropa Exhibition in South Korea devoted to the 70 anniversary of the end of the 2nd world war and in the prestigious international competition «International Artist Grand Prize Competition» in Taiwan by the invitation of the Association of the Visual Arts in Taiwan.
At the International competition in Taipei, 4033 paintings from 78 various countries were submitted. The rigid principle of competitive selection of a limited number of participants was based on conditions of great professional skills, relevance and popularity of authors. Only 90 artists from more than 2,000 applicants from all over the world reached the final. As a result – only 9 prize-winners. And for the first time «Extraordinary style and great skills» of the Pridnestrovian artist were estimated by a high international award with the right to represent the country at a personal exhibition on the largest in Asia World art salon «Art Revolution Taipei 2016».
In 2016, in a year of hard work as the owner of the international competition award, the artist presented the works on «Art Revolution Taipei» in the World Trade Center were only in 5 days there were over 20 thousand visitors. Reproductions of pictures of the Pridnestrovian artist together with other countries prize-winners took part in the advertising campaign of the World Fair in the big international catalogue, on public transport, banners and posters in Taiwan and art editions of Japan, Singapore, China, Korea, Turkey and Europe.
In 2016-2017 in view of the unceasing interest of the Chinese judges of high art, the personal exhibition of Salko within the Fresh classical air project took place. «For the significant contribution to the development of society, high professionalism and active participation in public life» the artist is awarded ranks of the winner of the international «Award of the Millennium» of the Business Community Assembly.
In May 2018 the International Art Olympic Games «Art Revolution Taipei» opened in the cultural capital of Asia Taipei and became a bright show-window of 87 countries in Taipei World Trade Center exhibition complex. 2 pictures of Yury Salko – «A travel on the Deep Valley» and «Fishes Hunters» – were chosen from more than 4.5 thousand works from all over the world and awarded two medals and a high award of «International Artist Grand Prize Competition 2018» and also the honourable right of participation with a personal exposition within the World Fair «Taipei New Art Fair» in 2019.
In April-May, 2019 10 Yury Salko's paintings participated in exhibitions in various Taiwan museums and galleries within the world forums «Taipei New Art Fair» and «Art Revolution Taipei». Yury Salko participated in a charitable sale «Art of mercy from 100 world celebrities» in the World Trade Center of Taipei – it is a large initiative of the art director of the Taipei Fair of New Art Li Shandana uniting art and charity. Every year one hundred chosen celebrities from the different countries are invited to show love through artistic creativity and to induce people to care. All artists got enthusiastic support and loud voices and became a main issue of lighting in media on different continents. The world festival of art «Art Revolution Taipei» (ART) of this year brought together more than 450 artists from 74 countries. It passed in April in the World Trade Center of Taipei. Every year the new subject is announced. A subject of this year is «The soul tattooed by art».
«Art Revolution Taipei» is the biggest and representative platform of the global art on the Asian continent which gives the chance to declare oneself, the art and the country in the serious media working in the sphere of art. Also, the September exhibition in the Center of Assistance to Art Baosheng in Taipei is a result of indefatigable interest to the Pridnestrovian.
«The most important that it helps to form a positive image of Pridnestrovie, to show that our art can adequately represent our country on world exhibition platforms», – the artist says.
This year Yury and his wife celebrate the 55 anniversary of their family and at the same time the 40 anniversary of creative activity. Quite recently, at the end of the summer, their exhibition at the Tiraspol office of the OSCE Mission was closed, right there at once opened in Odessa and in Taiwan. In plans is sharing the creativity with judges of serious art in the USA.
