Dubossary, September, 6. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Buket Moldavii museum was opened on the territory of the legendary factory, known worldwide for its wines and drinks. Hero of the Soviet Union pilot-cosmonaut Alexander Ivanchenkov, the first PMR President Igor Smirnov and representatives of the factory cut the red ribbon at the entrance to the treasury of the winery history.
One of the first visitors to the museum were also astronauts Musa Manarov, Anatoly Artsebarsky, Sergey Treschev, and Vladimir Tomchuk, who spent more than three decades serving and working at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. Among the guests was Konstantin Zatulin, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots.
The museum’s stands present unique materials telling about the history of the Buket Moldavii and the connection of the plant with astronautics.
The Cosmic and Cosmonaut Leonov balms are the plant`s pride. Their predecessor is the Senetate balm, which was produced at the Dubossary plant in Soviet times for astronauts.
Among its developers is Galina Nechitaylo, senior researcher at the Russian Academy of Sciences. Today, she recalled how it had begun.
“Our chief designer, Fioktistov, said: “You have to do something for the astronauts in order to cheer them up so that they can work well,” she shared, adding: “Senetate (“Cosmic”) balm is an excellent radioprotector.”
“This drink has a great future,” Galina Nechitaylo said.
Twice Hero of the Soviet Union Alexander Ivanchenkov thanked Bouquet of Moldova for exclusive products that improve performance.
“These are excellent drinks that give health, improve performance. We are grateful to the entire staff of the Buket Moldavii factory, which produces such exclusive products, and congratulate everyone on the opening of such a wonderful museum,” the astronaut said.
State Duma deputy Konstantin Zatulin brought special souvenir to the Dubossarians as a gift to the Museum of the Buket Moldavii - a tube with the Senetate drink, which has been preserved by the Russian cosmonauts from Soviet times.
“Today I have an honorable mission - to hand over Senetate drink which was in space, from Viktor Savinykh, twice Hero of the Soviet Union. Pridnestrovian products are very much appreciated in Russia. We hope that there will be even more of it in the Russian markets in the near future,” Zatulin said.
On the same day, Russian guests visited the vineyards of the Doyban production of KVINT wine and brandy factory. There, they got acquainted with the process of harvesting and processing grapes, and also took part in wine tasting. Oleg Markovich Baev, Director General of Tiraspol Wine and Brandy Works KVINT CJSC told the Russians about the secrets of winemaking.
