Tiraspol, July, 7. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today a large-scale IT-conference was held in Tiraspol. The organizers of the D-day was the Pridnestrovian company DexTechnology. Experts from such famous companies as Microsoft, Yandex, Skolkovo Technopark, Avito, Tagline, Globus and others shared their experience with young and already established developers.
According to the organizers, this is the second such conference, but this time a larger and more representative one: the previous event was a trial, and the speakers were the employees of the company themselves.
“Today’s conference has two goals: internal and external. The internal one is aimed at the development of our IT community, and the external one is aimed at promoting our region,” Ivan Gel, Head of DexTechnology said.
Today, about 500 representatives of the Pridnestrovian IT community gathered in the hall of the Palace of the Republic. The topics of discussion were the most pressing issues of the industry, ranging from web development, blockchain and ending with a virtual reality system.
“It is very useful to hold such conferences. First of all, this is a great opportunity to talk to the speaker personally, to ask him questions of interest. The second is communication channels: all are united, get acquainted, communicate, someone can even find a job. Today, everyone felt very positive and came here consciously. I think that there are not many such events here, so this is very significant,” Natalya Floksi, an expert at the Skolkovo Technopark, shared her impression of the conference.
According to the head of the company DexTechnology, such events will be held regularly in the future.
“Unfortunately, in our region the IT sector is not as developed as we would like it to be. That is why we are trying to popularize it. We hold conferences, actively work with our university, train students by providing them with an up-to-date program,” Ivan Gel emphasized.
By the way, the organizer of the conference - the company DexTechnology - is developing software and is in the top 50 mobile developers in Russia. In addition to projects in the Russian Federation, DexTechnology collaborates with clients from the USA, Europe and Kazakhstan. For example, they developed the BIG3 mobile app for fans of the American Basketball League, as well as developing and supporting the Electronic Government project together with Kazakhstan.
