At a 1000 meters distance, he took silver, having conceded fractions of a second to Pole Tomasz Kaczor. The third was the champion of the London Olympic Games Sebastian Brendel, reports Radio 1.
All three prize-winners earned permits to the World Cup where quotas for the Olympic Games of 2020 in Tokyo will be played. In the canoe pair at the 1000 meters distance, the Russian crew Kirill Shamshurin – Ilya Pervukhin won bronze. Romanians finished the first, Ukrainians were the second.
