Tiraspol, June 14. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Laws have to be adopted according long-term prospects for successful development of the state. The republic needs to decide on priority IT industries and to keep business development actively. Such opinion was expressed by the chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov following the results of participation in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The parliamentary delegation spent three days at the forum. During this time they had a lot of meetings on different platforms. The main thing that the Pridnestrovian parliamentarians paid attention to was information and experience which could be useful under our conditions. Especially it concerns the development of the economy and support of the business.
Heads of the most successful regions told about their experience. Pridnestrovie, according to the speaker of the Parliament, also has a certain success.
«We corrected rates on a tax on income for manufacturing enterprises and adopted an absolutely new law on support of investment activities. For a small business a number of the bills regulating tax regime were adopted. That experience we got on platforms of the forum will be surely introduced in our legislation: liberalization of the Penal Law, decrease in administrative barriers and so on», – Alexander Korshunov noted.
Conversation objects on other platforms were more global, such as trends of world economy development. The main emphasis was placed on economic processes digitalization. As the speaker of the Pridnestrovian Parliament emphasized, it is important to adopt such laws which would consider not only today but also future realities. The time horizon of the made decisions was within not 3-5, but 15-20 years.
These are such processes in Pridnestrovie too: the law about blockchain technology is adopted; there is mining, at high technological level mobile communication and digital television. However, our republic has no such high scientific potential to develop many modern technologies. And therefore, the head of the Supreme Council says, it is necessary to decide on our opportunities and to develop those technologies we have resources for.
«To develop some spheres of IT directly in the territory of Pridnestrovie is a very daunting task, but it is quite possible to participate in some directions. Today an activity range in this industry is very wide, from blockchain technologies to robotics. We should be defined where we see ourselves that we have to offer the investor to make him chose us. I think that with the Government we will work not one ten directions which need to be supported in terms of both investment policy, and taxation», – Alexander Korshunov considers.
The speaker of the Parliament reminded also one of the main forum messages: it is not enough to draft the ideal legislation, it is necessary to create also the atmosphere for the enterprise community. To make the businessman feel the state treats as the partner.
