Tiraspol, June 2. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The semi-marathon Mattoni České Budějovice was held in Ceske-Budejovice. Due to the high organization of runnings, it has the gold status – IAAF Gold Label.
The semi-marathon Mattoni Ceske Budejovice is the fifth competition in the racing RunCzech series which includes 9 runnings in the cities of the Czech Republic and 2 runnings in Italy.
Semi-marathon in Ceske-Budejovice is one of the most large-scale semi-marathons in the world. It was carried out for the 8th time. Athletes and fans including veterans from 35 to 75 years took part in it. This time on start there were 2,349 people, 725 of them were women. The average age of participants is 38 years.
The distance lay on the ancient small streets of the city. Also, there was a musical accompaniment by the participants of a musical festival.
Lilia Fiskovich was in the strongest group (WAM) and won with the result 1 hour 13 minutes 29 seconds. Sportswomen from Ukraine became the prize-winners.
Two weeks ago the Pridnestrovian athlete was the best on a semi-marathon in Karlovy Vary. Lilia Fiskovich is a record-holder of Moldova in semi-marathon and marathon. She updated last year achievements. The sportswoman from Tiraspol has already won the permit to the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
