THE PRESIDENT MET WITH MILITARY PERSONNEL AND SUVOROV MILITARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Young people asked the questions, talked about politics, economy and patriotic education

Tiraspol, April 24. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. At the initiative of the President in the assembly hall of Suvorov Military School there took place the meeting with the military personnel of the Tiraspol garrison, cadets of the Military Institute and Suvorov Military School students, the press service of the department reports.

The convention between the Commander-in-chief and the military personnel lasted more than an hour. More than 20 questions were addressed to the President. They have discussed a wide range of subjects: from policy and economy to vital and private matters. The main focus during the communication was on the questions concerning military service. The subject of youth’s patriotic education was touched separately.

«If we want to raise a patriot it isn’t enough to tell him some patriotic phrases. It is a complex, it is a system, it is huge work in all directions», – emphasized the President answering one of the questions.

Vadim Krasnoselsky also noted that the result in patriotic education cannot be achieved only with the help of propaganda. An integrated method and full-time laborious work are necessary.

The President as the person who is actively playing sports urged young people to work out and go in for sports.

Throughout conversation participants of the meeting raised the issue concerning the importance of peace’s preservation on the Dniester’s bank. The Commander-in-chief stressed the successful realization of a peacekeeping mission promoted the preservation of peace.

«If there is someone who says publicly that the peacekeeping mission is the evil, they will be criminally responsible according to our law. We protect those who protect us. Until there is a Russian peacekeeper while there is a peacekeeping mission on the bank of the Dniester there will not be any war», – Vadim Krasnoselsky noted.

During the open conversation the military personnel received answers to all of their questions. Such meetings allow to communicate to the Commander-in-chief in a format of open dialogue, to share the opinion and to learn about the further implementation of plans for the development of Armed forces, note in the Ministry of Defence.
