Tiraspol, April, 15. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The military personnel of the Operational Group of Russian Forces in Pridnestrovie gave the citizens of Tiraspol a tour in the Museum of Military Glory, located on the military town territory.
They told the guests about the campaign record of the 59th Kramatorsk rifle division of Guards, which is the ancestor of the OGRF.
They were also shown a hall dedicated to the history of the Great Patriotic War, where various types of weapons, uniforms and communication equipment used during that period were displayed.
According to the press service of the Western Military District of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the excursion was timed to the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Tiraspol from the Nazi invaders.
