Tiraspol, April, 13. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The native of Tiraspol, 22-year-old Russian gymnast Artur Dalaloyan won gold in floor artistic gymnastics in the European championship.
Dalaloyan gained 15.100 points, the Israeli gymnast Artem Dolgopyat (14.900) is the second, one more Russian Dmitry Lankin (14.800) became the third, TASS reports.
«I made the same program which I did in the World Cup because initially the training in the day of approbation it was not successful. So I decided to show the usual program, without the changes I made after the World Cup. It helped me to fight for a medal without nervousness» — Dalaloyan commented on the performance.
The day before Dalaloyan became the second in the individual all-around.
The European championship on artistic gymnastics takes place in the Polish Szczecin. Dalaloyan will also fight for medals on a crossbeam, in a vault and on bars. Competitions will come to the end on April 14.
In Qatar, Artur Dalaloyan won gold in personal all-around and floor exercises at the World Cup of 2018, silver in a command tournament and a vault and also became the bronze prize-winner in the exercises on bars.
