Tiraspol, April, 12. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Russian Ambassador to the RM Oleg Vasnetsov participated in the festive events devoted to the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Tiraspol from fascist aggressors.
During the festive meeting at the building of the Aronetskaya Drama Theater, the diplomat addressed the Pridnestrovian veterans.
«Your great feat gave a good example to all of us, to the younger generation of the Pridnestrovians. Your feet will remain in our hearts, in our memory», - Vasnetsov told.
He noted that today it is important to resist attempts to rewrite the history. At the end of the meeting, Oleg Vasnetsov participated in a flower-laying ceremony on the Glory Memorial.
