Tiraspol, April, 10. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The first in this season sports orientation championship of Moldova was held in the village Grozeshty of Nisporensky district. The program included a sprint distance and mixed relay (2 men +2 women) in five age groups.
Pridnestrovie was presented by teams from Tiraspol (sports school of rowing and Station of young tourists), Bendery (SYuT) and Slobodzeya district.
The Pridnestrovian athletes acted successfully: they won 11 of 15 highest awards.
At a sprint distance Egor Dvoytsov (up to 14 years), Yaroslav Davydov and Yulia Eremenko (up to 16 years), Nikita Yurikin and Dana Gurzopa (up to 18 years), Evgenia Demchenko (up to 20 years) and Ivan Fomichev (Elite group) became champions in the age groups.
In men's «Elite» and in some other groups, the Pridnestrovians occupied all pedestal.
Two relays (to 14 and «Elite») were won by the athletes from Tiraspol, one – by athletes from Bendery (up to 16 years) and Slobodzeya district (up to 18 years).
In competitions, the big group (15 people) of the Tiraspol Suvorov Military School acted. 11-year-old Kirill Savelyev was the youngest participant. He took the 13th place in group up to 14 years where more than 50 athletes competed.
In next weekends the Pridnestrovians will participate in a team championship of Moldova. Tiraspol club «Tiras-Orient» wins it for many years.
