Tiraspol, April, 10. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today the Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary Savva met with the head of the Orthodox Church of Moldova, Metropolitan of Chisinau and All Moldova Vladimir.
Vladyka Savva spoke about the preparations for the Easter Sunday celebration in Pridnestrovie. In particular, they discussed the initiative of the PMR President to hold Easter Festivals on the territory of Bendery fortress. It should be reminded that Easter Chime is scheduled for April 29. The program includes concerts of the Pridnestrovian State Choir and Symphony Orchestra.
The diocese website reports that they had also discussed the question of the Moldavian Metropolis delegation staying in Jerusalem, from where a particle of the Holy Flame would be delivered to the parishes of the Tiraspol-Dubossary eparchy on Easter night.
At the end of the meeting, Archbishop Savva expressed gratitude to Metropolitan Vladimir for his attention to the clergy and flock of the Tiraspol-Dubossary diocese, and invited him to take part in worship services dedicated to celebratory and memorable dates in Pridnestrovie.
