The government and the leadership of Tiraspol were instructed last week to develop a plan for improving the entry to the Pridnestrovian capital from Bendery. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers the condition of the road and infrastructure in this area unacceptable. The President said during the meeting that the view that opens to Pridnestrovians and guests of the republic should attract. The entrance to the city is similar to the hallway in the apartment. It is here that the first impression is formed, and it should not be spoiled by rickety fences. The leadership of the PMR Government and the Head of the capital administration were invited to the meeting. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers that when designing the so-called entry group, aspects related to the history of the creation of Tiraspol should be taken into account. As for the deadlines, according to the President, it is advisable to carry out the work in two stages: this year, to put in order the road and infrastructure along it along Karl Liebknecht Street to the intersection with Pravda Street, which will be updated along its entire length up to Suvorov Square in 2020.
Alexander Martynov told about the complex of upcoming works, noting that the improvement will be carried out in two directions: repair of the road surface and construction of structures. Oleg Dovgopol, in turn, informed that the renewal of the roadway to Pravda Street will cost 16 million rubles and more than two million will be needed for landscaping and infrastructure improvement. It was noticed that the financial costs on this section will be greatly facilitated by the implementation of the project to bring the road of the capital to a proper condition by the internal investor the Sheriff company.
The meeting participants considered the projects of the entry group, options for the improvement of sidewalks and the design of fences for private houses located along the road, and discussed in working order the aspects related to the financing of forthcoming works.
