Tiraspol, March, 4. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Last year, in the Shevchenko Pridnestrovian State University research laboratories there were registered 16 patents for inventions. This was announced by the pro-rector for scientific and innovative work Irina Tolmacheva at the meeting of the Academic Council of the university.
She noted that in 2018, 30 research laboratories were functioning in PSU, which conducted research in 6 areas. Over the year, over 450 scientific papers and 7 monographs were published.
The State Commission for the Evaluation of Scientific and Innovation Activities approved reports of 28 research laboratories of the university. According to the press center of the university, highly rated were the Research Laboratory Polyaron, Archeology, Electrochemical Production, Algebra and its Applications, Physiology of Stress and Adaptation. The Commission also made recommendations on how to optimize laboratory work.
“The level for scientific work has been raised very high. Through the super-efforts, we turn to a new quality of research. Our task is to justify the trust that is given to us by the customer - the Government and the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic” - PSU Rector Stepan Beril said.
