THE AMOUNT OF THE GRANT TO MILK PRODUCERS WAS INCREASED TWICE

The analysis of data for 2018 showed an increase in production

Tiraspol, February, 26. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In 2019 state support to producers of milk will proceed: the amount of a grant will grow (1 ruble for 1 kg of cow's milk of the basic fat content 3.5%).

Let's remind since 2018 the state support in a type of payment of grants for the cow's milk which is handed over for industrial processing at the rate of 0.5 rubles for 1 kg was provided to producers of milk (legal entities and peasant farms).

Besides, since January 2019 the dominant processing enterprise increased purchase prices of milk from the calculation:

For natural persons – 5.00 rubles;

For peasant farms – 5.10 rubles;

For legal entities – 5.50 rubles.

The approved purchase price in combination with grants for milk forms the average European purchase price and creates favourable conditions for profitable dairy production.

Also, preferential crediting for the purchase of breeding heifers from a Business Development Fund is provided in the Law on the Republican Budget 2019. All these measures are the instrument of improvement and stimulation of the dairy industry in the republic, note in the Ministry for Agriculture and Natural Resources.

Considering the deficiency of the budget, many producers of milk were sceptical about the subsidized mechanism. In the I quarter 2018 applications for receiving a grant were submitted only by 15 farms, and after carrying out the first payments their quantity increased. By the end of the year, it has reached already 26.

Analyzing data on key indicators of products of livestock production, it should be noted that in 2018, despite insignificant decrease in a livestock of milch herd in farms of the Republic (from 2,427 to 2,418), production of milk in the agricultural organization increased by 10.1% and made 9,189 tons against 8,349 tons in 2017. Also, the increase in milk yield on average on one cow in a year is observed, namely: from 3,785 kg in 2017 up to 4,105 kg in 2018.

The Ministry for Agriculture and Natural Resources Commission conducted an examination of objects of livestock production of the republic in February 2019. The reliability of the information provided by agricultural producers for receiving a grant, the readiness of farms for work in winter conditions was defined.

«Cattle breeders positively apprehended the state support. Agricultural producers use the received grant sums only on development, improvement of the economy, including on acquisition of forages and repair of cowsheds that positively affects the result of economic activity. Businessmen began to make more safely own financial means in development of the business and to take the credits», - experts following the results of inspection noted.
