Tiraspol, February, 18. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovie is annually visited by hundreds of tourists from near and far abroad. Most often our cultural and historical sights, architecture and modern production attract travellers from Germany, Poland, Great Britain, Spain and the USA.
Before going to our republic, they look for information and try to make a road map. The Tourist Information Center opened in Tiraspol at the Agency of Regional Growth helps with it. During existence, it has consulted about 3 thousand people. From them, nearly 2.5 thousand, as a result, visited Pridnestrovie.
«We conduct continuous monitoring and collection of information about tourist products – the main attractions, means of placement, the enterprise of food, transport services. We advise tourists how it is possible to drive to our republic, for what term», - the chairman of the Agency of Regional Growth of Pridnestrovie Tatyana Yaskova told.
In the information centre even developed the Tourist map for the convenience of visitors – the scheme in which all sights of Tiraspol located in the centre are specified. It is available both in Russian and in English.
To create a favourable image of the republic helps the Tourist Portal about Pridnestrovie. The resource is developed by the Agency of Regional Growth and includes all useful and interesting information about our state, a photo and video records and also a «question-answer».
«Besides, our Center is a platform not only for tourists but also for suppliers of tourist services. For them, we hold the training seminars, training, fact-finding visits and we tell about new tourist places, about the museums or guesthouses. There is an interchange with information and clients», - Tatyana Yaskova noted.
About work of the Center with potential tourists and also with the Pridnestrovian and Moldavian suppliers of tourist services spoke on a round table. As the place for dialogue organizers of a meeting chose the hotel and restaurant complex «Old Bastion» which has been recently opened in the territory of the Bendery Fortress. By the way, it has already filled up a tourist's route of many agencies, and group tours in the Bendery Fortress increased.
According to the representatives of the Information Center, the interest in cultural historically object of Bendery will only grow and not only from foreign guests. For this purpose, the interaction geography extends.
«Last year we worked with tour operators from Israel, from Belgium which cover the French-speaking population in Europe. In Pridnestrovie, there was a group of twenty tour operators of China, and one of them – from Ukraine. We begin to interact also with tour operators from Russia and Belarus. For them, we plan to hold the fact-finding round in the spring. Perhaps, after a visit to Pridnestrovie they will add new routes on the cards», - Tatyana Yaskova told.
Also, the state is ready to give support to the tourist sector. In Pridnestrovie, the Business Development Fund with a little more than 2 million rubles is created. These means as it is supposed, will go for the development of tourism objects, on entertaining and cultural platforms, park zones and gushing complexes and also for training of the experts working in the tourist sphere.
«Tourism is the most important direction of the economy. Efforts of the state are directed on making our cities more beautiful and more attractive as to internal, and external tourism. We do our best to hold entertainment programs in the territory of cultural and historical objects to make tourists stay in Pridnestrovie not only for several hours but longer», - the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the PMR Natalya Sitkina paid attention.
