Bendery, February, 7. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The delegation of Pridnestrovie in the JCC expresses serious concern in connection with alleged input in the Safety zone of additional forces and means of the Republic of Moldova for ensuring the protection of public order during elections on February 24.
Representatives of Tiraspol distributed the address within the regular meeting of governing body of the peacekeeping operation.
In the document, it is emphasized that the practice of holding similar actions shows what any serious violations of public order was not earlier recorded.
«We consider that the planned input of additional forces and means of the RM in the Safety zone will be an element of additional tension and a complication of a situation in a zone of responsibility of Joint Peacekeeping forces», - it is said in the address.
The Pridnestrovian delegation in the JCC urged the Moldavian colleagues to refrain from the actions capable to destabilize the situation in the Safety zone.
It is reported that Pridnestrovie, in turn, does not plan to strengthen a quantitative and qualitative component of police officers in the Safety zone and will make every effort for providing law and order in controlled territories.
«At the same time, understanding current situation, we offer in case of emergency input of additional forces and means in the Safety zone to hold these events only from the notice of the JCC according to the preliminary notice and under control of military observers of Joint Peacekeeping forces who have to accompany both input of additional forces and means of law enforcement agencies of the RM, and their conclusion from the Safety zone», - it is noted in the document.
