Tiraspol, February, 3. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Head of the CEC of the PMR Elena Gorodetskaya during the business trip to Moscow met the chairman of Alliance of Public Associations «National Youth Council of Russia», the Director of the Institute of Youth Policy and the International Relations of the Moscow Technological University (MIREA) Grigory Petushkov.
Issues of interaction and participation of the Pridnestrovian youth in projects of Association were discussed at a meeting. The National Youth Council of Russia is one of the organizers of the international conference in St. Petersburg «Young voters and candidates: from the right to choose to the right to be elected» which will take place on February 12.
Participants will be able to communicate on questions of legislative ensuring elections and referenda, development of legal and electoral culture of youth, drawing attention of young voters to regional and municipal elections, formations of civil liability among young people, increases in interest of voters in questions of government, the Head of the CEC of the PMR explained.
The Head of the Central Election Commission of the PMR Elena Gorodetskaya with the Head of the Russian Center of Training in Selective Technologies (RCT) at Russian CEC Natalya Artykayeva spoke about the youth area of work of electoral commissions and a possibility of participation of young people of Pridnestrovie in the All-Russian competition «Atmosphere».
As the Head of RCTST reported, this competition is the new tool of Russian Central Election Commission for increase youth interest in elections, giving an opportunity to the pupils and young specialists who are interested in an electoral right and process to writing the best work on the elective subject.
A competition was held for the first time in 2018 among the Russian participants and calculated on a wide range: students and young specialists from spheres of information technologies, culture and art, the young people who did not reach 35 years. Also, the collective authorship of works is allowed.
The competition is carried out in several steps and on several nominations. A competition is planned to be held annually, the start date will be approved by the Resolution of Russian CEC.
