PMR GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO BRING MIGRANT WORKERS HOME

Prime Minister Alexander Martynov told reporters, that thanks to the new law on investment support, there are new enterprises and jobs being created

Tiraspol, December, 14. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Head of Government gave a long interview to Novosti Pridnestrovya IA. Alexander Martynov spoke in detail about job growth.

“Further positive dynamics will be directly related to attracting investment in the republic and expanding existing industries. It should be noted that in 2017-2018 our team worked to create conditions for economic growth. Now, creating and continuing to create conditions for growth, we expect that the process of the emergence of new jobs will go faster. I will give a few examples. The state introduced subsidies for milk – as a result, there was a new dairy plant opened in the republic. New jobs were created. We launched a mechanism for subsidizing interest rates - the effect is the same” - Alexander Martynov said.

The Head of Government added, that the new law on investment support allowed new businesses and jobs to be created already at the start.

“So far, not much, but, nevertheless, for several months of the law work - this is good progress. Under the budget law for 2019, the Government proposed to create a fund for the development and support of entrepreneurs. The proposal was supported by the President and deputies of the Supreme Council. The work of the foundation involves a whole range of measures aimed at helping those citizens who intend to open a small business. So we intend, among other things, to create the prerequisites for bringing our labor migrants home” - the Premier noted.

Against the background of job creation, the Government has another problem - there is no one to work. In this regard, as Alexander Martynov said, on the instructions of the President, the dual education system is being rapidly introduced. In a shorter time, it allows you to obtain primary skills and knowledge and get to work.

“Therefore, we look to the solution of the problem of employment with optimism, and we will continue to do everything so that there will be more jobs, and the President’s program will be fulfilled” - the Prime Minister concluded.
