Bendery, 16 July. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. An Internet action, Urban Legends, dedicated to the city's 610th anniversary, is being held in Bendery.
It is organised by the local state administration as part of the Bender Pedestal project, Bendery TV reports.
"Many famous guests visited our city; many outstanding people grew up on this land. Academician Berg and architect Mednek spent their childhood in Bendery. A lot of political and literary figures visited the city. Not only tsars and revolutionaries, artists and pilots make history, after all. Ordinary citizens are the key actors of all epochs. The historical events occurred in Bendery are so diverse that they can strike a listener no worse than a fairy tale," the report says.
