Electromash and Uralelektro to develop high-tech electric motors

Tiraspol, 14 June. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. CJSC Electromash and JSC Uralelectro have started cooperation on the development of highly efficient electric motors, Electromash's press service reports.

12 June, the two companies signed a package of cooperation documents to develop and manufacture high-efficiency electrical machines.

The potentials of the two enterprises will be combined to develop the new product and sell it in the Russian market in the framework of a state-run import substitution program.

"This mutually beneficial project will be implemented at JSC Uralelectro in the Russian city of Mednogorsk with product design and production engineering performed by specialists of Electromash and Uralelektro," the report said.

As an Electromash spokesperson noted, the main task of the enterprises is the production of high-tech energy-efficient electric motors in both general industrial and explosion-proof design. The motors will be designed to be integrated not only into new industrial equipment but also in the operating one.

"All electric motors ofthis series will be equipped, optionally with temperature relays or PTC thermistors, as well as anti-condensate heating; vibration and temperature sensors are also optional. These products will be executed in diecast aluminum bodies that will significantly increase the technological efficiency of production and will provide a competitive low-cost product," Electromash underscores.
