Tiraspol, 23 May. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) met with the officials of the US Embassy in Moldova Charles Veter and James Stewart. Vice President of CCI Vasily Kozhan told the guests about the economic situation in Transnistria and current initiatives in the economic sphere.
The interlocutors discussed the prospects of crypto-currency and mining in Pridnestrovie, as well as preparations for the Pridnestrovian International Investment and Economic Forum. The forum will be held in autumn.
Irina Gilak, head of the Project Office of the CCI, noted the most significant projects implemented by the chamber last year, and those that are being worked on.
Head of the Department for International Trade Development Bogdan Ignatyev introduced a new sphere of the CCI's branch of activities - the creation of a common portal of manufacturers, aimed at promoting Pridnestrovian goods in foreign markets.
At the end of the meeting, the guests thanked the leadership of the CCI for information and expressed their interest in developing cooperation and establishing partnership relations, the CCI's website reports.
