Tiraspol, 9 May. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A holiday concert continued the festivities dedicated to the 73rd anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War. The soloists of the orchestra of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the PMR gave a traditional 9 May concert in the capital's central square, the Defence Ministry's press service reports.
The artistic director and chief conductor is People's Artist of the PMR, Colonel Vitaly Voinov.
The songs that unite generations were performed from the stage. The songs that are familiar and loved by many people; the songs that combine the emotional experience and memories of the victories and achievements of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War.
The day culminated in a festive salute. At 21:00, to the sound of the song "Victory Day," the night sky blossomed with festive lights.
