Tiraspol, 3 May. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Ways to overcome export barriers and conquer the European market with high-quality and environmentally friendly products were discussed at a seminar organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources. A Netherlands expert shared his vision with agrarians from Slobidzeya and Grigoriopol districts.
The seminar was organised by the Association of Fruit Producers of Pridnestrovie "Dniester Fruit", the ministry's press service reports.
The expert spoke about the European Union and the types of European buyers, about trends and processes in the European market of fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as about issues of quality and competition. He also highlighted the issues relating to doing business with European customers and distribution channels of fresh fruit.
The seminar participants took an active part in discussing the problem of quality of fresh products, export barriers.
