PSU representative visits Volgograd on scientific trip

From 17 to 21 April, Volgograd was the host of the 5th International Forum "Golden Star", dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Stalingrad Battle, as well as the 3rd International Scientific Conference "Stalingrad Carnation".

Tiraspol, 25 April. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Natalya Krivoshapova, a deputy dean of the Department of Philology of PSU, was on a scientific trip to Volgograd State Social Pedagogical University (VGSPU), PSU's website reports. She took part in the 5th International Forum "Golden Star", dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Battle of Stalingrad, and the 3rd International Scientific Conference "Stalingrad Carnation".

The guests of the forum made a tour of VGSPU. They also visited a museum of the history of the Volgograd university and a famous zoological museum, which was opened soon after the war.

During her stay in Volgograd, Krivoshapova, along with delegates from other countries, attended a rally on the Mamayev Kurgan. Prospects for further cooperation between VGSPU and the universities participating in the forum were discussed at the meeting with the university rector.

Natalia Krivoshapova also visited the Institute of Confucius and the Old Sarepta Open-Air Museum.

All the events were accompanied by concert programs.
