Tiraspol, 3 April. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. During a visit of the Pridnestrovian delegation to Moscow, Pridnestrovian foreign minister Vitaly Ignatyev met Russia's ambassador at large Sergey Gubarev.
The interlocutors held a comprehensive exchange of views on topical issues of the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova, the press service of the Pridnestrovian MFA reports. In particular, considerable attention was paid to the process of implementing the agreements reached by the parties, as well as the course of discussions on the development of a mechanism for the participation of Pridnestrovian motor transport in international road traffic.
The participants of the meeting also discussed the results of the visit to Pridnestrovie of special representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office Franco Frattini with an emphasis on the prospects of holding a "Permanent Conference..." meeting in the "5 +2" format in the near future.
In the framework of the dialogue, the commonality of Pridnestrovian and Russian positions on the priority of the resolution at the negotiating table of practical problems affecting the social and economic well-being of citizens was reaffirmed.
The interlocutors paid special attention to the discussion of issues of bilateral cooperation between Pridnestrovie and Russia in various fields. The parties agreed to maintain direct contacts over the entire range of joint initiatives and areas of cooperation.
