Bendery, March 22. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Pridnestrovie's side notified about the law-enforcement agencies conducting the checkpoint Bychok - Gura Bîcului Bridge during a regular meeting of the JCC.

The representatives of Tiraspol consider it necessary to put the checkpoint under regular control by the military observers of the four sides according to the instruction "About activity of the military observers".

At the same time, according to the JCC cochairman from Pridnestrovie Oleg Belyakov, the Moldovan side always blocks on-site visits of the military observers.

"We have informed today on a number of law enforcement agencies which will be deployed near the bridge. It is a step of openness by the Pridnestrovian side. We know that there have also been some changes on the Moldovan side, but nobody informs us," Oleg Belyakov emphasized.

Also, the report of the Joint Military Command (JMC) on the situation in the Security Zone was made during the meeting.

"A lot of weapons have been seized this week. It means that the law-enforcement and peacekeeping mechanisms are still effective in the Security Zone: weapons and ammunition are seized, the relevant operative actions are held," the cochairman added.
