Moscow, 5 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The president was asked a question at the international forum "Togeather with Russia" about preparations for the Russian presidential election and queues at polling stations which had occurred during past electoral campaigns. Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention to the fact that in many ways this was due to the attitude of the country's residents to Russian elections.
"For us, this is a national holiday," emphasised the president. He recalled that 22 polling stations had been available during the past presidential and parliamentary election. This time two more stations would be open.
"Unequivocally everyone will get the right to elect the President of the Russian Federation, but public agitation remains anyway. According to our estimates, Pridnestrovie needs more than 30 polling stations," said the president.
He stated that the electoral mechanisms in the PMR had been adjusted and launched.
"It's impossible to disrupt the elections in Pridnestrovie," concluded the president.
The international forum "Together With Russia" is organized by Russky Mir Foundation.
