Tiraspol, 19 February. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Pridnestrovian delegation took part in the investment forum Sochi 2018, which was held last week in Russia. As deputy prime minister Aleksey Tsurkan said, representatives of our country attended several panel workshops. These workshops were dedicated to certain topics generated a number of ideas, some of which can be fully applied in Pridnestrovie.
For example, there was one where the best practices on the socio-economic development of Russian regions were presented. Selected from a variety of proposals, they often presented ready-made solutions to various issues.
"These are very interesting examples of how to involve the population in resolving municipal issues, such as the so-called people's budget, educational programs, development of tourism, rehabilitation of disabled people to name but a few," he said.
One of the examples is the so-called "educational train" (it could be a bus in Pridnestrovie), where students and teachers board a train and tour the cities of their region. Visiting various sights and memorable places, they get familiar with the cultural, historical, ethnographic and other peculiarities of their region. Tourist facilities, in turn, get the opportunity to develop their infrastructure.
The representatives of our country also took part in workshops on the interaction of business and government, as well as digitalization of state administration. Elements of the latter are being developed in Pridnestrovie as part of the e-government, which is aimed at simplifying the receipt of certain types of services by a citizen.
"As part of the implementation of the instructions by the chairman of the government on the adoption of e-government, the State Service for Communications is continuing work to develop a public service portal - a constituent part of e-government. I think in March we will be able to demonstrate the specific result of this work. Also, we are continuing to work on a document management system, into which we involve new ministries and departments," said Aleksey Tsurkan said.
The digital economy is also a topical issue for Pridnestrovie. In January, the country adopted a blockchain law, which its sponsors hope will promote the inflow of investments. Aspects of the legal regulation of the digital economy, which are actively introduced in Russia, Belarus, China, were also discussed at the forum.
"It was also very useful and interesting for us because we have adopted this law in January, so we are keeping up with global trends. This is a very useful discussion that shows the problems encountered when regulatory issues are approached in legal terms: what regulatory instruments should be used and what relations are generated," said Tsurkan.
The Pridnestrovian delegation also studied the experience presented at the project management workshop. Some elements, Aleksey Tsurkan stressed, would be very useful in the context of the forthcoming administrative reform.
In general, there is enough food for thought. Many projects are in the public domain on the Internet, and the government intends to study them in detail and, if possible, apply them in our country.
