Pridnestrovie's President meets with leader of United Russia party Sergey Neverov in Moscow

The partners talked about the simplified mechanism of Russian citizenship receiving, using of medical insurance policies, implementation of Russian maternity capital in the territory of the PMR

Tiraspol, January 23. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovie's President Vadim Krasnoselsky met with the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation - the leader of United Russia party Sergey Neverov.

The conversation between the head of state and the Deputy Speaker of Duma was one-on-one, the Presidential Press Service reports. According to Vadim Krasnoselsky, issues of great importance for the citizens of the republic were brought up.

It was talked about the Russian-Pridnestrovian interaction including such main spheres as social sphere, peacekeeping mission, and economic interaction.

The President of the PMR thanked Russian government for comprehensive support and noted that the republic needed help during the period of reforms. At the same time, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that the country was committed to self-reliance also based on cooperation with the strategic partner and the ally – the Russian Federation.

The Russian-Pridnestrovian parliamentary cooperation was especially mentioned during the meeting. It was said that work on legislation improvement in the best interests of the citizens of Russia living in Pridnestrovie was carried out. The sides also talked of the simplified mechanism of Russian citizenship receiving, using of medical insurance policies, implementation of Russian maternity capital in the territory of the PMR, for example, on undergraduate study in Pridnestrovie.

Also, the sides discussed the issues concerning the future election of the Russian President. 24 election precincts to be opened in the republic. It is a reminder that tens of thousands of Pridnestrovian Russians have come to the polling stations at recent parliamentary elections, and their total number amounts to 25% in proportion to all voters outside Russia.

The economic situation, the issues of foreign policy, the course of the negotiation process and other topical issues were discussed during the meeting. At the end of the dialogue, the results of last year were summed up and the plans of interaction were mapped out.
