Tiraspol, 28 November. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Seven consultants from Tiraspol and Bendery have received CMC certificates (Certified Management Consultant), which are internationally recognised and compliant with the EU standard.
A total of 25 specialists were selected for this programme under the UNDP project funded by the European Union. However, not all of them have become certified business consultants.
"It was difficult for us to select these consultants because the local service market is poorly developed, and so far entrepreneurs have long been thinking before seeking advice," said project manager Maxim Kataranchuk.
According to him, the key reason for denial is that consulting services can be rather expensive compared to the company's income. And not always the most experienced consultants by local standards give the right advice. But recently, the situation in the region has improved, including through the programme.
Throughout the year the participants underwent 200 hours of practical and theoretical training and skype sessions. Each of them had a personal mentor.
"In order to confirm the status and the right to be called an international consultant, it was not only necessary to present three business cases but also a four-year development plan. The most important thing ... was to build a development trajectory, including own social growth, the growth of business and social benefits," said a project participant, business consultant Svetlana Turchak.
In turn, the Austrian business consulting expert, Christian Putzer, noted the high level of knowledge of Pridnestrovian participants.
"The success rate here is 87%, while in Austria it is about 60%. This cooperation offers new opportunities for international projects," he underscored.
