Tiraspol, 26 September. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovian President Vadim Krasnoselsky met today the head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova, Michael Scanlan. Welcoming the American diplomat, the head of state noted that "the negotiating process is going on but not smoothly".
"There are a lot of issues to be addressed. First of all, these are economic, cultural and humanitarian issues. The lives of ordinary people depend on their solution. The task of the Pridnestrovian leadership is to work for the sake of their citizens," recalled the president.
He underscored the importance of dialogue and compromise in the negotiating process. "No results without compromise. Pridnestrovie continues to adhere to a compromise position," the presidential press service cites Vadim Krasnoselsky as saying.
Michael Scanlan thanked Vadim Krasnoselsky for his invitation. "I'm looking forward to exchanging views on the Berlin Protocol today. I can only welcome the compromise approach and hope to discuss all the issues in this vein," said the OSCE official.
