Tiraspol, 22 August. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Over 240 events have been scheduled for Republic Day, which will be held from the late August to 5 September. And the events that will take place on 2 September will involve over a thousand performers, the head of the State Agency for Culture and Historical Heritage, Maria Kyrmyz, informed the prime minister, the government's press service reports.
«The focus will be on the brightest and most gifted performers of Pridnestrovie. We have also invited young performers. Performers who have become the winners of republican contests will also take part in the celebrations," underscored Kyrmyz.
She also mentioned rehearsals, which are held on the schedule. By the end of this week, posters informing on the upcoming festivities will have been issued.
