«The Russian world was struck on 22 June 1941. After all, Europe bent down and knelt in front of fascism. It is the Russian world that defeated, overthrown the fascist plague Therefore, the Russian world has always been the saviour; it enables all nations to live safely in any historical space," said Krasnoselsky.
The president cited Pridnestrovie as an example, in which people of 35 ethnicities live together, speak their native tongues, profess their religions and traditions.
«It is in Pridnestrovie that the Moldavian language and history — rather than the history of Romanians — has been preserved," said Krasnoselsky.
The history of Pridnestrovie, he stressed, is inextricably linked to the history of Russia. «We have experienced together both tragedies and victories. And so it will be in the future," said the president.
