Tiraspol, 21 June. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Russia's vice premier Dmitry Rogozin looked around the stands of Pridnesatrovian enterprises at the International Exhibition Tekhnoprom 2017. The special representative of the Russian president on Pridnestrovie discussed with members of our delegation increased foreign trade turnover with eastern regions and cooperation with Russian regions.

The first deputy chairman of the PMR's government, Alevtina Slinchenko, told Rogozin and Russia's presidential plenipotentiary to the Siberian Federal District, Sergey Menyaylo, what our delegation had brought to Novosibirsk.

The stands of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic feature the industrial and agrarian potential of our country. The director of the Elektromash plant spoke about a presentation of a joint venture, which is an excellent example of cooperation between the Russian and Pridnestrovian business.

«We are working today to increase our foreign trade relations with Russia. In the five months of this year, our exports accounted for $25 million against only $15 million in 2016," said Slinchenko.

When talking to Rogozin, Slinchenko paid special attention to our country's cooperation with Russian regions.

«We are taking measures to increase foreign trade with the Russian Federation. And the infusion of foreign investment capital is especially important. We are working to update our legislation; we have already presented a lot of investment projects, which have been submitted to Russia to attract Russian loans," she underscored.

Our goods aroused great interest among Russian entrepreneurs. According to Slinchenko, they asked only one question: «When will your goods come to the Russian market?» This is why the issue of delivery was discussed in detail with the head of Novosibirsk, Anatoly Lokot.

In addition, the minister of the economic development of the PMR, Sergey Obolonik, gave an interview to the Komsomolskaya Pravda daily, the government's press service reports. He recalled that the country paid special attention to improving the business environment for foreign investors.

«Pridnestrovie has adopted a number of laws offering preferences and guarantees for investors in the area of taxes, energy and infrastructure support of projects," said Obolonik.

The main message of Tekhnoprom is a new industrial revolution in Russia. The minister was therefore asked if the Pridnestrovian leadership was brooding over the same concept.

«Being in tough conditions, we understand that it is impossible to retain competitive advantages in markets without innovation. In our case, innovation requires real resources. We hope that our cooperation with Russia will help to develop this matter and obtain Russia's support," said Obolonik.

As we have reported, Novosibirsk is hosting the International Technological Forum Tekhnoprom 2017, which is taking place from 20 to 22 June and has already brought togeather about 5,000 participants and experts. This year, the forum's slogan is Make in Russia, which calls for the development of the potential of the Russian military and industrial complex in the civil sphere. Besides Alevtina Slinchenko and Sergey Obolonik, Pridenstrovie's official delegation includes presidential adviser Pavel Prokudin and representatives of some enterprises.
