Tiraspol, 19 June. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Defenders of Pridnestrovie have met today near a monument to A.V. Suvorov in St Petersburg to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Bendery tragedy. The meeting of 1992 war veterans is reported on the VK social media page «Pridnestrovians in Russia. St Petersburg».
«After laying flowers at the Suvorov monument, the veterans signed memorial books. All participants were awarded commemorative lapel badges," the report says.
Today, 19 June, a meeting was held at Suvorov Square in St Petersburg to commemorate the 25th years anniversary of the Bendery tragedy. The meeting was attended by the VK group administration, war veterans and group members who recalled the horrors experienced by soldiers, volunteers and civilians.
