Pridnestrovians take part in Russian workshop on social design projects

It was organised in Moscow for youth policy experts by Rosmolodezh and the International Youth Centre of Moscow

Tiraspol, 2 June. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovians took part in a workshop on social design projects for youth policy experts held in Moscow. Our country's delegation was headed by senior lecturer of Tiraspol Law School under the Interior Ministry and the coordinator of the Sorok Sorokov movement, Major Vasily Guska. Other participants included delegations from Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Donetsk and Lugansk, the Interior Ministry's press service reports.

The workshop, organised by Rosmolodezh [Russia's youth agency] and Moscow's International Youth Centre, lasted five days. The programme included work in three panels: volunteering, forum campaigning and the mass media.

«We discussed in the panels volunteer movements and the possibility for foreign citizens to take part in Russia's large-scale projects as volunteers. We also talked about the issues of forum ideology, work with a target audience, the concept of mass events and the organisation of their security. The participants of the mass media panel discussed the ways of presenting information, interaction with journalists and correct coverage of youth events. I think all this will be helpful for us in practical work that we are going to intensify in Pridnestrovie," explained Guska.

The Pridnestrovian delegation was the only one that managed to take part in parliamentary hearings on Russia's youth policy, which was organised in the State Duma by speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, Guska said. Representatives from all regions of Russia discussed the main problems related to the implementation of youth policy.

«During our visit to Moscow, we learnt a lot of new and interesting things, met like-minded people from other countries, shared experience in organising work with youth. I think we will actively implement all we have learnt in our republic," concluded Vasily Guska.

The Pridnestrovian movement Sorok Sorokov [forty times forty churches] was established by Vasily Guska in 2016. The organisation has brought together many young activists to protect the cultural and historical values of our land, inextricably linked to the great Russia. They have become known for holding various public events in Pridnestrovie. Among them was a singing flash mob dedicated to Victory Day, which gathered over 500 people.
