Tiraspol, May 23. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Russian Foreign Ministry's envoy Sergey Gubarev who represents Moscow at the '5+2' format negotiations on the Moldo-Pridnestrovian settlement made his next visit to Ptidnestrovie.
During the visit, Sergey Gubarev met with the Pridnestrovie's president Vadim Krasnoselsky, the top echelon of the Supreme Council and the Pridnestrovie's Foreign Affairs Minister Vitaly Ignatyev.
«Interaction with Russia is not just regular, in fact, we have equal stances on the fundamental issues concerning the use of political and diplomatic measures for the solution of problematic issues, the involvement of all tools of the 5+2 format for reduction of adverse events," the Pridnestrovie's Foreign Minister noted in the interview to the journalists at the end of the meeting.
Sergey Gubarev noted that such meetings were held more regularly, than the negotiation rounds in the '5+2' format (editor's note — Moldova and Pridnestrovie — the sides; Russia, Ukraine and the OSCE — the mediators; the EU and the USA — the observers) tempo of which had become slow.
«We are not saying that we want to make it productive, but that we want to meet at least in the nearest future. We cannot talk about some productive work within the '5+2' format, because there will be one year since we have gathered last time (A previous round of the 'Constant meeting…' was held in Berlin on June 2−3 last year — editor's note)," the Russian diplomat noted.
Sergey Gubarev also reported that he was going to meet with the special representative of the Acting OSCE Chairman Wolf Dietrich Heim (the Austrian diplomat is going to visit Tiraspol the day after tomorrow — editor's note) to discuss a possibility of the earliest resumption of work of the «Constant meeting …» in Chisinau the next day.
