Tiraspol, March 21. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The head of the supreme legislative body of Pridnestrovie Alexander Shcherba met with the head of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Group on Moldova Arta Dade in the Pridnestrovie's Supreme Council. Current condition of the negotiation process between Moldova and Pridnestrovie was the main subject of the dialogue between the sides. The Pridnestrovie's Foreign Affairs Minister Vitaly Ignatyev and the chairman of the Tiraspol City Council Albina Ivanova also took part in the conversation.
Arta Dade emphasized that despite the fact that the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly wasn't an independent participant of the 5+2 format negotiation, the European parliamentarians could also promote facilitation of the dialogue between two sides and find concrete solutions of the problems. According to the member of the assembly, one of the most important purposes of her visit is obtaining of information about the negotiation process from the Pridnestrovian side. «The Berlin protocol is signed, we would like to see some tangible results," Arta Dade added.
Alexander Shcherba emphasized that the document signed in the German capital was full of real sense and applied issues concerning the life of the ordinary citizens, however it wasn't implemented in practice due to the ambiguity of approaches of the Moldavan side, despite all efforts of Pridnestrovie, and mediators and observers.
Also, the speaker of the Pridnestrovie's parliament informed Arta Dade on the unagrred to the Pridnestrovian side plans of Moldova and Ukraine to organize a customs border control at the Pridnestrovie's border that, according to Alexander Shcherba, can cause tension.
