Tiraspol, 25 January. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The president of the Academy of Social Technologies and Local Government, Vladimir Patrushev, will represent the interests of Pridnestrovie in Russia. The Russian professor, doctor of sociology, has visited Tiraspol and met the head of the city, Oleg Dovgopol.
In 1975 Vladimir Patrushev for the first time went up the stairs of the capital's state administration, then the House of Soviets. Back then he was not a professor, but a student of the Higher Party School of the CPSU, a source of manpower for the party and Soviet leadership.
One of the topics raised during this visit is the establishment of economic relations with Russia. The head of Tiraspol, Oleg Dovgopol, believes that Pridnestrovian enterprises need the Russian market.
«Not through cash infusions into enterprises, but rather through subsidising the enterprises that are ready to buy our goods. This will be more attractive for investments. At the same time, we are ready to present our products in Russia," said Dovgopol.
The sides have also discussed the issue of personnel, particularly about its training and skills improvement. Soon these talks will see actual realisation. The first step is internship courses and refresher training in Russia.
«We have agreed with Pridnestrovian State University to create a centre for refresher training with the involvement of Russian professors and scientists," said the Russian guest.
Vladimir Patrushev's list of titles and posts include doctor of sociology, professor, an adviser to the Belgorod governor, president of the Academy of Social Technologies and Local Government. And now one more item has been added to it.
