Tiraspol, 1 December. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. As part of the industry and innovation forum «Industry, innovations, technologies», which is taking part in Kaluga, the chambers of commerce and industry (CCIs) of Kaluga and Pridnestrovie have signed a cooperation agreement. The choice of this partner was not accidental, the media centre Tiraspol cites the head of the Pridnestrovian CCI, Yury Ganin, as saying.
«Kaluga is one of the leaders of the Russian Federation in attracting investment and conducting investment policies. Kaluga Oblast ranks third in Russia's investment climate ranking. Kaluga governor Anatoly Aertamonov ranks third among the most effective leaders of Russian regions," he explained.
Business relations will be developed in the framework of the agreement through CCIs, business and authorities
«Why is Kaluga Oblast so interesting? During the industry and innovation forum, we have seen six industrial clusters formed in Kaluga; there are industrial parks in the region. We have seen which strategy of economic development is implemented in Kaluga Oblast: this is the strategy of innovation industry, the strategy of the knowledge economy. This involves the development of an IT-based economy» says Yury Ganin.
It is expected that the chambers will exchange plans and work out joint events for 2017, as well as place through their own channels commercial propositions of enterprises of both regions. In particular, these propositions will include sales and purchase sections, will be distributed among the chambers' members. The members' interest in these propositions will be monitored.
It is also agreed that the subject of establishing a permanent venue to discuss economic issues will be examined. In particular, it is suggested to hold as such a venue economic forums under the conditional name «The Commonwealth of the Oka and the Dniester».
The Kaluga Industry and Innovation Forum is taking place from 29 November to 1 December. Pridnestrovie is represented in Kaluga by the acting head of Tiraspol, Sergey Danulyuk, the director general of NP ZAO Elektromash, Vladimir Trandasir, and the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pridnestrovie, Yury Ganin.
