Grigoriopol district, 11 October. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A ceremony of inaugurating a new Moldavian-language secondary school has taken place today in the village of Tashlyk, Grigoriopol district. The school was built by ANO Eurasian Integration through the programme of Russian socio-humanitarian assistance to Pridnestrovie.
The new institution was opened by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Russian President's Special Envoy on Pridnestrovie Dmitry Rogozin, President of PMR Yevgeny Shevchuk, founder of ANO Eurasian Integration, Russian State Duma member Alexei zhuravlyov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Moldova Farit Mukhametshin. The ceremony was also attended by Chairman of the Government Pavel Prokudin, Chairman of the Supreme Council Vadim Krasnoselsky, director of ANO Eurasian Integration Alexander Argunov, head of the Pridnestrovian office of ANO Eurasian Integration Nikolay Morozov.
Headmistress Nina Beshlyaga called today's event «the holiday not for the school itself, but also for the entire district». She called the school «a marvellous palace» and recalled that local teachers and students had had to study in unadapted premises in the past years.
«The new school will significantly facilitate the process of teaching and help to improve its quality. Our children will be taught and educated here. The school is equipped with everything necessary for a normal educational process," she said.
The headmistress expressed sincere gratitude to President Yevgeny Shevchuk for having included the building of a schools in Tashlyk village in the social programme implemented by ANO Eurasian Integration.
According to Nina Beshlyaga, today the school is staffed with professional teachers. The annual presence of academic medalists confirms the quality of education obtained by local students. Over 50% of the local school leavers study at universities free of charge.
In his turn, Russia's vice premier Dmitry Rogozin recalled the extensive work carried out in Pridnestrovie with the assistance of Russia. This work was noted by the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, who has sent a welcome address to the participants of today's opening ceremony.
«I am pleased that the joint work has begun to yield concrete, tangible results in this area. Last year Russia sent educational literature to Pridnestrovian schools, assisted in the construction of a new academic building of the medical department of Pridnestrovian State University. This autumn a new school, built under Russian assistance, is opened in the village of Tashlyk," says Vladimir Putin's address.
The Russian president underscored that «Russian-Pridnestrovian ties will continue to flourish for the benefit of our fraternal nations».
«Kids, you should study well at this school, receiving good and excellent grades," said Dmitry Rogozin, speaking to the students of the new school.
The students themselves promised to get only such grades. On this day they had prepared a concert programme for the distinguished guests from Russia and Pridnestrovie.
The new Moldavian-language school in Tashlyk is the first one built from scratch since the days of the USSR. Villagers have been awaited it for over 25 years. The Tashlyk school will be the most up-to-date and technically equipped in the republic.
The school inaugurated today is a two-storey building with a total area of around 2,750 m, built in accordance with modern requirements for comfort and safety.
The ground floor has, in addition to spacious locker rooms, an administrative unit with the headmaster's office, boys' workshops equipped with lathes and rooms where girls will be able to master needle work and cookery.
The school also has a medical unit, a canteen with a capacity of more than 110 persons and a modern nutrition unit. The school can also boast a new multifunctional gym with locker rooms, shower rooms and toilets, as well as a large assembly hall designed for 150 people. A library, classrooms of history and geography, Russian and foreign languages, maths and drawing, physics and chemistry are at the disposal of local schoolchildren.
An IT classroom has got 25 computers and a complete set of office equipment, two modern interactive projectors and is connected to a high speed Internet network.
A large-scale project for the Russian humanitarian assistance to Pridnestrovie has been implemented since 2013 by the decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin. During the implementation of the programme ANO Eurasian Integration has built and commissioned five new pre-school facilities in Tiraspol, Bendery, Rybnitsa, Sukleya village, as well as the building of the PSU medical department and a concrete mixing plant. Besides, eight modern mobile ICUs and four trolley-buses have been gifted to Pridnestrovie. Several dozen classrooms have been fitted out with computer and multimedia equipment and several resource centres have been established in Pridnestrovian State University. Rybnitsa's TB dispensary, equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment, is ready for commission.
Five more social facilities — including a Republican TB Hospital in Bendery, a secondary school in Rybnitsa, a paediatric department of the Centre of Mother and Child, a chemotherapy centre and a perinatal centre in Tiraspol — are also about to be commissioned soon. All facilities will be equipped with a complete set of necessary medical equipment and furniture.
