Tiraspol, September 5. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Pridnestrovie's Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatyev discussed an issue concerning the delivery of inward cargo to Pridnestrovie by rail with the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Michael Scanlan. The Pridnestrovie's MFA hosted the meeting, the press service of the ministry reports.
Vitaly Ignatyev emphasized the need of urgent resolution of that sensitive issue and also noted that Moldova's and Ukraine's unilateral actions on change of the inward cargo delivery scheme including fuel and lubricants by rail to Pridnestrovie basically conflict with provisions of the existing Protocol Resolution «About the Principles of Resumption of Full Freight Railway Communication through the Territory of Pridnestrovie».
«The diplomat also noted that the practice of Moldova's permanent refusal from the dialogue at various levels prevents comprehensive work on the railway problem settlement," it is noted in the statement of the Foreign Ministry Press Service.
It's important to remind that since July of this year Ukraine has imposed an outright ban on inward cargo delivery by rail through the Slobodka-Export and Kuchurgany-Export stations, thus forcing the Pridnestrovie's importers to register in the RM in order to deliver freights through its territory, and by doing that to transfer to the Moldova's legal framework.
