Tiraspol, May 17. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The IV Pridnestrovian Investment and Economic Forum will be held on May 19−20. This time, organizers including the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Economic Development Ministry with support from the government have decided to devote the event to the topic: «Pridnestrovie amid Сrisis: From Survival Policy to Development Policy».
The vice-president of Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vasily Kozhan reminded that the previous forum had comprised more than one hundred projects provided by all cities and districts of the republic.
«We expext that about 500 people including 57 foreign guests from 16 countries of the world will take part in this forum. Most of part of them will be the experts from Russia. There are representatives of the Commerce and Industry Chamber of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of the industry, the National Institute of Technological Regulation among them. Also, we expect representatives of the embassies located in Moldova, experts of the United Nations Development Programme in RM, EUBAM Mission," Vasily Kozhan noted.
He added that unlike the previous investment forums (in 2009, 2010 and 2013) that forum would be economically oriented generally. Its name itself calls for development of decisions for progressive economic development of Pridnestrovie within the crisis conditions, for transition from the survival policy to the development policy, for search of new approaches in encouragement of investments.
«The way out should be searched together with representatives of all branches of the power," the vice-president of the Commerce and Industry Chamber emphasized.
Vasily Kozhan noted that the exhibition named «The Economic Capacity of the Cities and Districts of Pridnestrovie» will be organized within the forum. Also, a plenary session, discussion platforms on hot topics will be held there. In particular, it will be talked about the problems and the future development of foreign markets for export from Pridnestrovie, about the tax system being an important factor of economic priming and other topical issues.
At the end of the investment and economic forum, its participants will sum up the results. They will be presented in the resolution. The offers on the economic development of Pridnestrovie will be included in this document.
