Tiraspol, 25 April. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The minister of education of the PMR, Tatyana Tsivinskaya, was a guest of today's morning show on Radio 1. The minister gave a detailed account of the implementation of presidential education programmes, in particular the Prioritet programme, and also answered questions about the organisation and holding of the Unified State Exam this year, the education ministry's press service reports.
Tatyana Tsivinskaya said that the presidential programme has covered 82 educational institutions, which saw the replacement of widows and inner doors, the partial replacement of roofs, and facade repairs.
«At the very beginning it was the 'School: Repair' programme which comprised 33 schools and provided for high planned capacity. Later, more requests followed, including small education facilities, which has resulted in the emergence of the Prioritet programme with 82 organisations, including many kindergartens," noted Tatyana Tsivinskaya.
She underscored that the implementation of the Prioritet programme cost 68 million roubles, which has covered 70% of education institutions.
«Thanks to the president, a great deal of work has been done because in 25 years (the ministry has marked its 25th anniversary this year) we haven't seen such investment in the appearance of our schools and kindergartens," emphasised the minister.
Tatyana Tsivinskaya also said that following the president's instruction, the ministry is currently studying educational facilities' demand for the updating of computer equipment. The corresponding requests have already been sent to district education departments.
She also recalled that owing to the Alfavit programme, schools have received interactive boards this school year.
«Four interactive boards were delivered to Rybnitsa's schools back in 2014 with 50 more followed in 2015. Our today's task is to create equal conditions for countryside schoolchildren, therefore, countryside schools have also been equipped with multimedia devices," underscored the minister.
