Tiraspol, April 19. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. President Yevgeny Shevchuk held a working meeting with financial and economic department of the Pridnestrovie's Government. The issues concerning the current social situation in the context of income and expenditure figures of state treasury were discussed. Special focus was put on the republican budget 2016 at the meeting.
An issue concerning the debt repayment to the state employees using the loan was also discussed during the meeting.
Within the working meeting concrete support measures for the citizens of the republic were considered. The Head of state endorsed the Government's initiative to reduce the gas and electric power tariffs for the disadvantaged. The relevant instructions were given to the profile ministries.
It's important to remind that there will be reduced gas and electric power tariffs in rural areas from May 1 till December 31 of this year.
