Tiraspol, April 11. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pavel Prokudin signed the governmental decrees providing reduction of the import customs duties on foods and nonfoods.
As the Governmental press service reports, both documents come into force from the day following the date of its official publication.
It's important to remind that such decision was made at the Government Presidium meeting on Friday, April 8. According to the representatives of an executive branch of power, this measure will provide mitigation in the republican foreign exchange market, create competitive conditions, and therefore reduce product price.
In particular, the special customs duties on meat, dairy, fish, wheat, etc. were reduced twice. Protective duties on part of meat and fish products were reduced by 5 times.
They will have legal force until July 1. Upon the expiration, efficiency of these measures and further steps will be considered in the profile ministries.
